The story of our festival began in 2013, when ten people turned their desire to party by the sea into a reality. With almost zero production experience and limited resources, the first Lighthouse was organized, at that time using bicycles as production vehicles.

At Lighthouse Festival Croatia, we have a big plus that no other festival allows - We have no restrictions on the food and drinks you can bring to the festival grounds.

At any Lighthouse Festival, we assume that no one's behavior restricts others in their freedom. We stand for tolerance, equality, and peaceful coexistence. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or aggression. If you notice such behavior, please tell our staff!

The idea of doing a festival in South Africa was born under very banal, almost trite circumstances. While LHF crew members were on vacation in beautiful Cape Town, they happened to drive by one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world, just 40 minutes outside the city.
