MARIE ALICE WOLFSZAHN

MARIE ALICE WOLFSZAHN is a film director and multimedia artist with an education in film (Edinburgh College of Art, EICAR Paris) and in sculpture (Univ. of Applied Arts Vienna). After Berlin, Moscow and Prague, her current base is her hometown of Vienna, Austria. In her work, she explores the manifold fictional realities we live in: utopia|dystopia, ideology, faith and folklore are recurring themes in her documentary and narrative films, as well as her light and art installations, stage designs and and sculpture pieces. The horror drama, MOTHER SUPERIOR, her award-winning feature debut film, was released in 2022.
